Your booking can be cancelled for free if you are unable to get your travel Visa.

No Place, No Pay

Your booking can be cancelled for free if you are unable to meet academic requirements of your university of choice.

Course Cancellations Covered

Your booking can be cancelled for free if your course is cancelled.

Flexible start date

If your course start date is delayed, you will only pay from the date teaching begins.

Travel Restrictions Covered

If you are unable to travel to the UK due to government travel restrictions, you can move your tenancy start date until the restrictions are lifted.

Full Policy

These booking terms apply only to bookings made up to 27th September 2021 and are only applicable up to the start date of the tenancy agreement. Once the tenancy start date has passed and/or occupation commenced, the contract is legally binding and all contract terms apply.

University course cancelled

If the University cancels your course, we will cancel your contract with no penalties. We require written proof from your course administrator and HEI that your course has been cancelled in order for us to release you from your contract. Please note this does not include circumstances where your course has been moved to online learning. We must be notified in advance of your tenancy start date.

Course delayed

If your course start date is delayed, we will defer your contract start date in line with the course start date upto 31st January 2022. We must be notified in advance of your contract start date.

No VISA cancellation

If you don’t get your VISA to travel to the United Kingdom then your contract can be cancelled with no penalties. We require written proof from your course administrator and HEI that your course application has been unsuccessful. We must be notified in advance of your tenancy start date.

Travel delays

If you are legally required to quarantine for 10 days in advance of checking in, we will defer your contract for this period. We required written proof in the form of a Covid-19 positive test result or quarantine notification from track and trace in order for this to apply.

Didn’t get your grades?

If you unfortunately didn’t get the sufficient grades to start university, we can defer your contract for the academic year or cancel this for you with no penalties. We will require written proof from your HEI that your application wasn’t successful, and of your intentions to cancel your tenancy within 7 working days of receiving this confirmation.

All of the above terms are applied at the discretion of your landlord and terms may be subject to change.
