BOOKING CONFIRMATION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
I confirm and acknowledge that;
1. Booking will be held for 12 hours from the time of reservation. If the deposit is not received within this 12-hour period, Belong reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. 2. Belong sends a receipt/confirmation upon receiving the deposit. The formal lease agreement is sent 5 to 7 days before the move-in date.
3. The deposit is subject to the following cancellation and refund conditions:
- If you cancel your booking at least 15 days before your move-in date, your deposit and prepaid rent will be refunded, less a $500 + GST administration fee.
- If you cancel your booking between 14 days and 1 day before your move-in date, your deposit will be forfeited. Any prepaid rent will be refunded, less a $500 + GST administration fee. c) If you do not move in and/or have not signed a lease agreement, your booking will be considered cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited. Any prepaid rent will be refunded, less a $500 + GST administration fee.
- After you have signed your lease agreement, the cancellation terms outlined in the lease agreement will apply. These terms may include penalties for early termination.
4. The deposit and prepaid rent are refundable if the property type I selected is unavailable and Belong does not offer reasonable alternative accommodation.
5. If the selected property is unavailable and I reject Belong’s offer of reasonable alternative accommodation, the deposit is nonrefundable and prepaid rent shall be refunded, subject to the deduction a $500 + GST administrative fee.
6. All required documentation, including but not limited to passport, ID card, Visa, and CoE, must be submitted by the deadlines specified below.
- If required documents are not provided at least 15 days before the scheduled check-in date, Belong reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the two weeks prepaid amount and a $500 + GST administrative fee. The deposit will be refunded.
- If required documents are not provided within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date, Belong reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the full deposit amount and a $500 + GST administrative fee will be charged. The two weeks prepaid amount will be refunded.
7. Joint Lease Bookings: All tenants must provide all required documents. If any tenant fails to submit their required documents by the deadline, Belong reserves the right to cancel or postpone the entire booking. Postponement may be granted at Belong's sole discretion and will be subject to availability. In the event of a booking name change, a $500 + GST administrative fee will apply.
8. My booking deposit will serve as a furniture holding deposit upon signing the lease agreement, and the two weeks' prepaid rent will be credited towards my rent.
9. The furniture holding deposit will be returned at the end of the lease term, less any deductions for damage or loss to the furniture, as outlined in the furniture holding deposit agreement. 10. Sales video/pictures for apartments are proximate. Belong will advise more room details 1- 2 weeks before move-in.
